Mas, por vezes, bem que poderíamos deixar de passar por algumas delas, muito desagradáveis.
Isso, se usássemos um pouco de calma e bom senso.
Narra um médico que ele tinha uma cirurgia de pequeno porte marcada.
Coisa nada complicada.
De toda forma, preparou-se no dia anterior, revisando todos os exames.
Seis e meia da manhã, em seu automóvel, dirigiu-se à clínica.
Cedo, ninguém na rua.
Ele seguia tranquilo, cantarolando, quando um carro cortou a sua frente, quase provocando um acidente.
Ele freou bruscamente.
Assustou-se.
A adrenalina subiu.
Ficou irritado, furioso! Pensou no quase grave acidente provocado por um mau motorista.
Provavelmente, um bêbado saindo de uma noitada.
Indignado, acelerou e alcançou o carro, quadras adiante, num sinal fechado.
Abriu o vidro e verificou se tratar de uma mulher.
Descarregou nela, que estava com jeito de quem nem tinha percebido o que fizera, toda sua lista especial, de nomes ruins.
Começou por irresponsável, incompetente, terminando com o tradicional só podia ser mulher!
Nem ele mesmo sabia porque dissera aquilo, ao final.
Intimamente tinha certeza de que sua noiva dirigia com muito mais atenção do que ele próprio.
Lembrou de alguns palavrões e os despejou também.
Ela devolveu, mais ou menos na mesma moeda.
Para não ouvir, ele foi fechando o vidro.
O sinal abriu.
Ele acelerou e cortou a frente dela, para devolver o gesto, exatamente na mesma medida.
Finalmente, chegou à garagem da clínica.
Agora, sentia-se um pouco mais calmo.
Afinal, tinha descarregado toda sua raiva e se sentia vingado.
Trocou de roupa.
Conferiu a mesa cirúrgica.
Abriu a porta da sala e chamou a paciente.
Era ela! A mulher que cortara a sua frente.
Aquela que ele chamara de tudo e mais um pouco.
Aquela que, por vingança, ele tinha fechado, ao arrancar com seu carro, no último sinaleiro.
Dr.
Diego gelou.
Rapidamente, colocou a máscara cirúrgica e o gorro, ficando somente com os olhos de fora, espiando e esperando.
Será que ela o reconhecera? Ela entrou.
Ele falou com voz calma e pacífica, tentando disfarçar.
Ao menos naquele dia, deu certo.
Quer dizer, ele acredita que foi assim.
Se ela o reconheceu, disfarçou muito bem.
Nunca comentou nada.
Talvez, por educação.
Depois da cirurgia, ele ainda a atendeu no pós-operatório, por três vezes.
Nunca tocaram no assunto.
Mas Dr.
Diego afirma: Aprendi a não brigar no trânsito, nunca mais.
